The gurukulam teaches free of cost. The kitchen serves whoever arrives. Both have been carried for generations by devotees giving what they could — and that is still how they are carried today.
What your giving carries
Nothing here charges a fee
Students at the gurukulam pay nothing — not for their teaching, their books, their robes or their meals. Nobody who reaches the annadana hall is asked who they are or what they can afford. The health camps, the cattle, the festivals and the welfare work are the same.
That is only possible because the money arrives from somewhere else. It arrives from you.

Please put your own name in the remarks. A transfer arrives with an account number and nothing else, and the office cannot thank you — or write your receipt — for a payment it cannot put a name to.
Exempt under section 80G — ask for your receipt as you give
The trust is approved under section 80G of the Income Tax Act, and issues its receipts itself. Ask for yours at the time you give — with the date, the amount and your payment reference — rather than at the end of the year, when a payment is much harder to trace back to you.

Tell the office and a receipt comes back in your name. Four things make that quick — and the third is the one everybody forgets, because it is the only one the trust cannot work out from its own records.

What the trust promises you
Every one of these answers a question a careful giver is right to ask before parting with anything.
It goes straight to the work
There is no agency, no fundraising commission and no payment gateway taking a percentage. What you send by UPI or transfer arrives in the trust's account whole.
The kitchen comes first
Annadana runs every day of the year and stops for nothing. When a month is tight, the kitchen is the last thing the trust cuts and the first thing your giving protects.
Give once, or whenever you wish
There is no subscription, no auto-debit and no mandate to cancel later. Nothing is stored, and you will not be written to unless you ask us to.
Any amount is welcome
The gurukulam has been carried for generations by ordinary devotees giving what they could. A small offering given with shraddha is not a small thing here.

If yours is not here, telephone the office. Someone will answer plainly, and nobody will ask you for anything on the call.

Yes. Telephone or write to the office with the date, the amount and the reference number from your payment, and the trust will issue a receipt in your name.
Is the donation exempt under 80G?
Yes. The trust is approved under section 80G, and the Income Tax Department's order granting it is published on this page for you to read — its registration number is AAITM4195JF20251 and its PAN is AAITM4195J. The PAN is the one your return asks for. Ask for your receipt as you give, with the date, the amount and your payment reference, rather than at the end of the year.
Can I give in someone's name, or in memory of someone?
Yes, and it is a common thing to do here — for a birthday, an anniversary, a shraddha, or simply in a parent's name. Put the name in the payment note, or tell the office and they will record it.
Can I sponsor a day of annadana?
Yes. Families sponsor a full day's meals for an occasion, and the sponsorship is announced at the kitchen on that day. Telephone the office to fix a date.
I would rather give in person, or in kind.
Rice, pulses, vegetables, books and cloth are all received gratefully, and so is your time. Come to the office at the kshetra, or call ahead and someone will tell you what is most needed this week.
I am sending money from outside India.
Please telephone the office before you send anything from a foreign account. Contributions from abroad are governed by rules the trust must follow exactly, and a transfer made without checking first can be more trouble than it is worth to everyone.
