Melukote Guruji

Foundation

This is where we teach students skills they need to transform themselves, others, and our global communities.

Gurupeetam began in Melukote

Acharya Ramanuja stayed in Melukote for about 12 years and while he was renovating the temple and creating scriptures, he identified 4 Sthana Charyas in order to teach people the ability of temple construction, scripture creation, administration and management tradition and donated the idols and titles they worshipped and Gurupeetam for the guidance of people in thousands of villages. (This information is mentioned in many scriptures and traditional documents.)

Accordingly, Vedic heritage, religious practice, teaching, preaching, education, disciple heritage of thousands of villages, food donation, education, publication of books, solution of personal problems, marriage, munji etc are special that gurupeetam is also carrying out helpful works; even today by identifying the helpless.
